We are recruiting for a Stock Room Assistant/Visual Merchandiser for a vibrant organisation based in Newton Abbot.

You will be supporting the department with the accurate tracking and preparation of all samples and stock and assisting the Sample Coordinator, Shoot team Coordinator and Product Room Coordinator with all daily tasks

A Fashion or Fashion Media/Marketing degree would be advantageous and/or experience in retail/warehouse or logistics.  You must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in sport.

In time, this role may also progress to pick up more responsibility around the product room, such as stock taking, booking out garments, helping operators with daily tasks such as answering emails, and any other duties that may arise within the stockroom. 


  • Hourly: £8.91 + holiday pay
  • Hours: : 9am-5.30pm. full time x 5 days each week
  • Location: Newton Abbot
  • Duration: Temporary to permanent

Duties for the Product/Stock Room assistant position initially, will include:

  • picking garments from warehouse,Iron and steam garments prior to photography, and check garments for any misprints or damages. 
  • Organise and tidy garments before and after photography to ensure ease for photographers.
  • Re-bag and box garments after use, and well as ensuring the rest of the product room remains tidy and organised. 

You will need to have:

  • Experience working in retail / merchandising / styling (or hospitality) or photography
  • The desire to excel and be a fast learner
  • Good attention to detail
  • A methodological approach to work
  • A positive attitude, a good work ethic
  • Computer skills: Experienced user of MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills
  • Able to work well within a team
  • Reliable, good timekeeping, honest and conscientious
  • Enjoys an active hands-on role
  • Able to maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the day
