An opportunity has arisen for a Pensions Administrator based in Plymouth depot. This is a temporary contract to cover long term sick, but it’s a good opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large organisation with the opportunity to apply for permanent positions/internal roles. Excellent hourly rate, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks, free parking!

Main Responsibilities for the role of Pensions Administrator

  • ·Organisation and scanning of the team’s post
  • ·Day-to-day use of the pension administration system
  • ·Preparation of correspondence.
  • ·Calculating pension benefits.
  • ·Maintaining computerised pension records.
  • ·Updating spreadsheet and diary controls for work scheduling and membership statistics.
  • ·Communicating effectively on Scheme related matters
  • ·Interpreting and validating documentation and correspondence received in respect of pension scheme rules

Candidate Requirements for the role of Pensions Administrator

You should be a good communicator and a team player who is willing to learn. You must be familiar with Microsoft Office and have good numeracy, literacy and organisational skills. Experience in administration is essential.

You will need to have GCSEs at grade A to C/4-9 in Maths and English Language or equivalent qualifications deemed to be at the same level or relevant experience demonstrating proficient use of English and Maths.
