Mapping Data GIS Administrators
Our client is a well-established, award winning electrical distribution network operator with over 7 million customers throughout the UK. Their Tipton depot requires Mapping Data GIS Operators for a 12 – 14 months temporary project. Temporary staff also have the opportunity to apply for internal permanent roles within the company. You will have either technical experience of GIS and/or Mapping systems, experience of data entry, or perhaps you are a graduate in a field such as Geography or Geology.

Requirements of the role:-
- A good level of education
- Good data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail, the ability to accurately interpret and record data
- Work on your own initiative, independently and part of a team
- Previous mapping and GIS experience (not vital as training will be given)
- Excellent PC skills
- To live within commuting distance of Tipton, DY4
As a Mapping Data GIS Operator you will be processing geographical data and updating images, maps and coordinates on the database – training will be provided.
Full-time role, 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
Hourly rate is £15.42 per hour, starting salary £29,756.
