Their Bristol depot is seeking a confident Database Administrator to work on an industry-led at national level project, the assignment is due to run for initially 6 months and will potentially be extended.  There is also the opportunity to apply for internal permanent roles within the company. The successful candidate can start immediately.

The role is hybrid working 2 days in the office and 3 at home, therefore you must be within a reasonable commuting distance to the centre of Bristol, there is free parking and the office is a 15 min walk from Temple Meads Train Station. 

There is onsite free parking. Holiday entitlement, 20 days + bank holidays, rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks. 

  • As a Database Administrator primarily using Excel and their in-house database, you will be working within a project team capturing data from various sources and inputting into a master template.  You will also be providing admin support for the project team if required.
  • Excellent Excel and database skills are essential, as is accuracy and eye for detail, data from the template will be uploaded into other systems and used company wide.
  • Good communication skills are key, to provide excellent customer service as there will be some customer phone calls to deal with.
  • Full training will be given with a background to the project so far to the successful Database Administrator.
