We are currently recruiting for a team of Customer Service Assistants who would like to work for one of the most prestigious railway networks in the world. Working between 26th October and 9th November 2019, with early and late shifts available (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm).
Based at Barnstaple train station the role of a ‘Customer Assistant’ involves:
- welcoming, directing and protecting customers, particularly to rail replacements and alternative services
- mobility assistance (e.g. for wheelchair users)
- assisting with luggage
- providing information to customers on the spot
Previous experience in a customer service or customer facing role is ideal and you should be able to communicate confidently and professionally, and present yourself well (white shirt, black trousers, safety shoes required).
