We are currently recruiting for Compliance Administrator to work on a major and high profile multi-million pound infrastructure/construction project within a Project Management team based in Worcester.  This is a long term contract, on 12 month rolling basis, likely to last for several years.  Our client are utilities company who play a vital role in connecting nearly 8 million customers to the energy they use. 

As a new role within the team, there are excellent opportunities to grow and develop within the role, offering progression, genuine career opportunities and longevity for the right person. The role is office based, working from their Worcester depot, with frequent site visits. 

Benefits include an excellent hourly rate with up to two salary increments a year, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days +bank holidays after 12 weeks and free parking. This is a full-time role, 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday. 

The specific Tasks of Compliance Administrator will include:

  • Ensuring the client adhere to the standards set out in the HS2 Act 2017
  • Assist in the resolution of compliance issues
  • Monthly site audit visits and reports
  • Assisting with keeping compliance processes and procedures up to date
  • Investigating and responding to cases of non-compliance
  • Representing the company at internal and external meetings
  • Engaging with all stakeholders at all levels
  • Data capture – Logging and processing (audits, spreadsheets, online portals, notices and reports)
  • Document drafting and updating using version control and quality checking
  • Training new staff (subject to Training and Development)
  • Presentation of compliance requirements at tender meetings and pre-construction meetings
  • Supporting Project Managers with project documentation co-ordination and capturing updates at design and close out stages
  • Other general office duties from time to time as required
  • Ad hoc site visits as and when required (sometimes at short notice)

You must be reliable, well organised and have keen attention to detail. You must be able to work autonomously using your own initiative as well as part working closely with all members of the internal and external teams. Computer literacy in Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is essential.

A current driving licence is essential as you will be required to attend site visits and their other depot in Summer Lane, Birmingham. 

Previous experience within utilities is advantageous.  Above all, you must be a reliable self-starter, proactive, well organised and be able to work as part of a team and you must be able to manage your own workload using your own initiative. 


Useful areas of experience would include – Experience within Compliance, Energy, Utilities or construction, would be highly advantageous.
