Our client is a well-established electrical distribution network operator with over 7 million customers throughout the UK. As a national business, they pride themselves on their first class reputation for network reliability and business efficiency, receiving the Government’s Charter Mark scheme accolade every year. Their depot in Plymouth are seeking an Administrator, initially for a period of 9 months with the possibility of being extended thereafter and the opportunity to apply for internal permanent roles within the company. Excellent hourly rate, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks, free parking! Immediate start available upon successful interview.
The company are currently undertaking an end user IT equipment refresh across the company at it’s multiple offices and sites and are looking for an excellent administrator to support this project.
The successful Administrator shall:
Be reliable, well organised and able to work as part of a small team, they must be able to use their own initiative and prioritise own work
Be conversant with Microsoft Windows and Office, Word, Excel and Outlook
Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, with suppliers, internal customers and other team members and must be able to represent the company positively at all times
Be methodical, have a keen attention to detail and able to work under pressure.
Duties will include:
- H&S Risk Assessment of personal work activities
- Manual Handling of materials to desk / installation location
- Data entry into various applications / systems.
- 1st point of contact for queries
- Liaising with logistics partners to arrange / progress deliveries and collections from various sites and logistics centres.
- Customer liaison as necessary
- Completion of assigned asset management duties
- Packing of equipment ready for dispatch
Please note this is a temporary contract for 9 months but could lead to other opportunities within the business in time. This role has a closing date of Friday 3rd May and successfully shortlisted applicants will need to complete an application form before this date.
