Innovation Team Support, Castle Donington – £34,225, £17.73 per hour.

Their Castle Donington depot are seeking a Team Support to work within their Innovations team. This is a six-month term temporary contract, to then be reviewed. Temporary staff also have the opportunity to apply for internal permanent roles within the company, so this is potentially ’a foot in the door’ with a large and well-established organisation.  Excellent hourly rate with up to two salary increments a year, holiday entitlement rising to 26 days + bank holidays after 12 weeks and free parking!

Main Responsibilities include among others:

  • Assist in Project Management Office activities.
  • Assisting in updating and monitoring of Standards, Governance, new legislation, and other documents.
  • Assist team in dealings with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • Update team databases and records and manage the team’s mailbox.
  • Raising Purchase Orders, Receipting Invoices, and general finance management.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in performance and recommend changes.
    • Monitoring of group email account.
    • Support for Innovation managers including telephone calls, emails, and diary management.
    • Administrative support to team including travel, accommodation, and other arrangements.
    • Support and assist in the team’s activities as required.
    • Other tasks appropriate to the grade.

Candidate Requirements: You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing, with customers and other team members and must be able to always represent the company positively.

You must be reliable, well organised, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team. You must be able to work using your own initiative. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Microsoft Excel and Word is required.

External candidates are required to have grade A*-C/4-9 GCSE in English and Maths or Functional

Skills Level 2 qualification in both subjects.
